- You get: the quantified baseline, the diagnosis ranked by impact, and the corrections implemented.
- This is not: copywriting, link buying, or a promise of rankings.
- Guarantee: no blocking technical defect found and fixed — refunded.
The forgotten layer
You were sold articles. Nobody checked that Google could read them.
The SEO market is dominated by content production, because that is what bills by volume. The layer underneath — indexing, rendering, markup, performance — requires opening the code, and most agencies do not.
It is an engineering problem. It has been my trade for twelve years.
The six layers
What I look at, in this order.
- Indexability
- How many of your pages does Google actually know about, and how many has it excluded? Contradictory directives, canonicals pointing to the wrong place, mis-declared pagination, orphan pages with no inbound link.
- Rendering and crawl budget
- Is your content in the served HTML, or only after JavaScript runs? And is the crawler spending its budget on the pages that matter, or on filter variants with no value?
- Architecture
- URL structure, click depth, internal linking. A page five clicks from the homepage, with no contextual link, is one Google treats as secondary — whatever its content.
- Structured data
- Correct, validated markup: Organization, Product, Article, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList. Wrong markup is worse than none, and nobody checks it after launch.
- Core Web Vitals
- LCP, INP, CLS measured in the field, not in a lab. The Lighthouse score on your machine says nothing about your visitors on a phone over 4G.
- Duplication and hreflang
- Content duplicated by URL parameters, language variants, pagination and print pages. In a bilingual site, a wrong hreflang declaration sends your English readers to your French pages.
How it runs
Ten business days, corrections included.
-
Days 1-2 · The baseline
Full site crawl, cross-referenced with Search Console and field data. The quantified starting point: known pages, excluded pages, exclusion reasons, real Core Web Vitals.
-
Days 3-5 · The diagnosis
All six layers reviewed. The deliverable ranks defects by traffic impact, not alphabetically — and says which ones are not worth fixing.
-
Days 6-10 · The corrections
I implement them. That is what separates this from an audit: you do not leave with a forty-page document for someone else to execute.
-
After · The verification
Fresh crawl, markup revalidated, coverage checked in Search Console. You receive the before and after on the same indicators.
What I have already written about it
The method is public. Read before you buy.
Replatforming without losing organic traffic, the four sources of duplicate content, structured data on a product page, performance as a merge constraint — the essays are published in full. Read the essays.
Open your Search Console during the call. In ten minutes we know whether your problem is technical or editorial.
Book 30 min →Common questions
Five honest answers.
Do you write the content too?
No, deliberately. I repair the foundation: what stops your content from being indexed, understood and ranked properly. Writing is a different trade, and plenty of agencies do it well. What they almost never do is open the code.
How do I know whether my problem is technical rather than editorial?
The most reliable signal: are your pages even indexed? Search Console tells you how many pages Google knows about, how many it excluded, and why. If a large share of your pages is excluded, no additional article will change anything.
Do you guarantee rankings?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google rankings. What I guarantee is on my side: if I find and fix no blocking technical defect, you are refunded.
What if I am planning a rebuild or a migration?
That is the best moment to call me, before the migration rather than after. Organic traffic losses during a replatform are almost always self-inflicted: missing upfront mapping, an improvised redirect plan, neglected markup parity. It is prepared for, not recovered from.
Do you work on WordPress, Shopify, or only on custom builds?
On common platforms as well as custom builds. The technical foundation follows the same rules everywhere; what changes is how much room you have to move. On a closed platform, I will tell you plainly what is fixable and what is not.
How many of your pages has Google excluded?
Thirty minutes, no commitment. We open your Search Console together and I tell you whether there is a foundation to repair — or whether your problem lies elsewhere.
